About our Director

Alan Le Map, Managing Director. He has held global roles - heading Leadership Development and Talent Management for leading multinationals (Zurich Insurance Group and Holcim Group), and has more than 25 years of coaching, assessment, organisational psychology, consulting and Corporate HR experience.

During this time, he has conducted more than 1,000 candidate assessments, has delivered 17 distinct leadership & management programs for companies on 5 continents, and conducted assessment centres for talent development, succession planning, and selection purposes.

He has served clients in all industries, primarily Hospitality, Banking, Insurance, Heavy Industry/Construction, Manufacturing, FMGC, Pharmaceutical/Healthcare, Technology, Energy, Legal, Media, Automotive, Public sector, and non-profit.

Alan is registered Psychologist, certified in: culture assessment, 360, personality & psychometric assessments. He uses: Hogan, SHL, 16PF, Human Synergistics tools, Profilor 360 feedback, TLC 360, among others. 

A proud father, his interests include Art (oil painting and watercolours) the Swiss Alps (sking and cycling), travel, sustainability, wine, cooking and chocolate .

Alan founded Latitude in Sydney in 2003, later relocated with his to family in Zurich, Switzerland, where he worked with two leading mutlinationals, before rejoining Latitude in 2015. Alan works in Australia, Asia and Europe, from bases in Sydney and Klosters. download his bio here.

    • Experienced with CEO and Executive teams, internationally and across industries. (past clients in China, Germany, France, Denmark, Switzerland, UK, Australia in all industries)

I partner with leading business schools globally, and have delivered global leadership programs (as lead faculty, or guest presenter or sometimes as a coach)  with DUKE CE (Europe) and Ivey Business School (Canada). Both these are Business Schools are FT-top ranked globally for ‘customised executive education’. In plain english this means they build world class leadership training experiences for the most discerning companies and executives and are recognised in the annual Financial Times executive education rankings that are global.

    • Clients have included Unilever, Holcim, UBS, Novartis Pharma, Julius Baer, Zurich Insurance, Roche, Heidelberg, GE Money, GM, PSA group and other confidential client engagements and pro bono work.   

  • Consulting and culture diagnostics, psychometric assessment and 360 feedback, talent development centres and assessments. Alan has assessed more than 1,000 candidates and executives in both recruitment and development contexts (for example - using role lays and full psychometric assessments). He has also had global responsibility in Talent Management and L&D functions, and this ‘corporate experience’ and track record influencing in a cross--cultural headquarters, means he can advise on systemic solutions and project support across the HR CoE and strategic topics, including vendor management.
